The piece makes use of improvisation both for “solos” as well as a fleshing out of the expressive details of the music. In addition the personalities and musical taste of the group’s members had a significant impact on the composition of the piece itself. The electronics used include processing the sound of the instruments with effects pedals, as well as an array of samples taken from various recordings, the playback of which is controlled by the electric guitar.
