Program Note:
This is an arrangement of a Yiddish folk song composed by Zelig Barditshever shortly after the Nazis came to power in Germany in the 1930s. It was written for a concert commemorating Yom Ha’Shoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) organized by composer Osnat Netzer at New England Conservatory in 2007.
