Program Note:
Hybrid Entity fuses a human toy pianist and the Robot Toy Piano, a mechanical instrument created by sound artist Ranjit Bhatnagar, into a single musical entity. Rapid streams of notes create fuzzy, surreal textures that blur the lines between human and machine, harmony and timbre, and motion and stasis.
