Originally appearing on Radiohead’s 2007 album In Rainbows, I was attracted to this song’s rich harmony, hypnotic polyrhythms, and seamless form that slowly builds throughout the piece. Because of these qualities, the song seemed particularly adaptable for performance by a contemporary classical music ensemble.
